Little Light

Light, places and quiet moments

Rain over the park

April 5, 2025

A few frames were slightly out of focus, but I kept them anyway. The fog cleared just enough to see the outline of the hills.

Most of these were taken within an hour, before the light went flat. I like how ordinary places change completely with a bit of low sun.

These are straight from the camera, with only small adjustments. I am trying to print a few of these for the wall. Some days you get one picture you like, and that is enough. The reflections on the water did most of the work here.

The colors were muted, almost like an old postcard. I went back the next day for the same view and it was gone.

I only had one lens with me, which made things easier, not harder. Walking slowly is still the best way I know to find pictures. There were more people than usual, so I waited for the quiet moments. Every season this place looks like a different town.
