Small details in August
These are straight from the camera, with only small adjustments. The fog cleared just enough to see the outline of the hills. The colors were muted, almost like an old postcard.
Every season this place looks like a different town. Some days you get one picture you like, and that is enough.
I am trying to print a few of these for the wall. I only had one lens with me, which made things easier, not harder.
There were more people than usual, so I waited for the quiet moments. A few frames were slightly out of focus, but I kept them anyway. I went back the next day for the same view and it was gone.
